This was missing in our collection of Carsten Domann kites: one of
his typical kites
with reduced colors and an applied motif that attracts
the viewer's attention.
It should also be solid but light and of course
fly in light winds. And not cost a fortune...
The result is the Sky Shield: a beautifully appliquéd and completely
free-cut sail stretches
over a frame made of solid carbon fiber.
With a
height of 132 cm, it develops only light pulling forces.
This makes the
kite easy to handle with a great presence in the sky. A real gem!
The Sky Shield flies best when the bridle and the tension of the
spreaders are adjusted to the prevailing wind conditions.
It is
therefore not suitable for beginners.
