After many years we have given the world's fastest mat a thorough rework.
At first glance, it has not changed much: the shape has become more modern, the screen has a cell more. This has changed the Aspect Ratio, the span and area have remained roughly.
The big distinction, however, is only visible under the bonnet: the profiles are now supported by a strong nylon thread in the edge. This makes the profile clean from the beginning. Higher profiling means higher efficiency, resulting in more speed and more powerful traction. The whole is called Profile Support - therefore the addition PS in the name.
A nice side effect is that the profile support can also be used to optimize the balance without creating additional harmful resistance by means of additional weighing legs. As a result, we can achieve a further increase in the wind range.
Otherwise, we rely on proven:
• thin, low profile
• High-pitched screen for more performance
• thinnest Dyneema weighing cords
• V-profiles for reducing the weighing cords
