Are you looking for a kite that is set apart by high versatility and highend performance? With the Matrixx, we have focused on developing a kite that offers exactly these traits: A kite that works on all terrains. We have dug deep into our box of magic tricks and improved many details, to give the performance of this kite a great boost.
Do you want to learn new moves, enjoy lots of lift and redefine the meaning of hangtime? All of this is no problem with the Matrixx.
We believe it should be simple to fly a wing. Easy handling and a direct feedback at the bar are essential. Only then can a pilot make real progress. For easy access to foil kiting, the Matrixx offers exactly what pilots are looking for. Stability and a great feedback are important in a kite, so the pilot gains a firm footing on the foil board. The Matrixx can satisfy you here with maximum upwind riding abilities and minimum lateral pull. We have spent countless hours on the water to optimize the kite for this trend, to make your life easier.
With light wind capabilities in mind, we have deliberately chosen lightweight and robust materials. Our minimum-cell shape weighs less, while it is still able to generate great power.
►► extremely good low-end performance ►► optimized for the use on foilboards (easy foiling) ►► increased speed in turns and lift ►► better feedback on the bar ►► extremely easy to fly ►► increased aspect ratio for a better performance
Performance Compared to its predecessor, the Matrixx is able to deliver a massive performance boost. The kite also shows its power significantly earlier; the new design and the increased aspect ratio are giving the pilot an even more direct feedback. If power is requested through the bar, the Matrixx is able to impress with a strong initiated lift. Hangtime is excellent, and in fact one of the areas where the Matrixx excels.
Shape The shape of the kite has been entirely redesigned. An increased aspect ratio, more cells and air vents in a different position are crucial for the enormous increase in performance of the new Matrixx. The new design of the air vents allows to fill the cells faster and creates more of the stabilizing inner pressure.
Bridle The main bridle of the Matrixx is made from extremely thin, low-stretch and tear-proof Dyneema lines that reduce air resistance to a minimum. The mixer employs extremely durable Ronstan pulleys and pre-stretched Dyneema lines, which will require almost no maintenance, even after many hours of flying.
Material For the Matrixx sail we have only used highend cloth, perfectly matched with great care in many trials of prototype versions. The larger sized kites with their extremely lightweight and robust 20D ripstop cloth are optimized to the max for flying in light wind conditions. The Matrixx 18.0 weighs only 3.5 kg including the bar. The smaller sizes are made from our tried and tested 30D cloth.
